Our therapists are here to support you.

Individual therapy, sometimes called psychotherapy, is a personal and transformative process that focuses on your specific needs and goals. It is suited to people looking to deepen their understanding of self and shift thoughts and behaviors that no longer serve them.

Through one-on-one sessions with a skilled therapist, you'll have a confidential space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Our many unique therapy approaches emphasize active listening, empathy, and collaboration, allowing you to gain insights, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth. Whether you're facing challenges, seeking self-discovery, or desiring positive change, individual therapy can be a profound catalyst for your overall well-being.

Questions?

We have answers.

  • You can expect your first two sessions to last between 52-55 minutes in duration as you and your therapist will be completing a review of all of the completed intake paperwork, along with your intake assessment. Your third session and so on will take approximately 45-52 minutes, where you and your therapist will begin to gain a deeper understanding of your reason for seeking support and healing.

  • In individual therapy, you can expect a confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with a trained therapist. The therapist will listen attentively, provide non-judgmental guidance, and support you with gaining insight into your challenges and life stressors. Through regular sessions, you can develop coping strategies, learn new perspectives, and work towards personal growth and positive change. The therapy process is tailored to your unique needs, allowing you to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and develop healthier ways of navigating life's challenges.

  • The duration of individual therapy varies depending on your specific needs, goals, and healing journey. It can range from a few weeks to several months or even longer. The length of therapy is typically determined by factors such as the complexity of your concerns, the progress you make, and your own preferences. It is common for therapy to start with weekly sessions and then transition to bi-weekly or monthly as you make progress. Ultimately, the duration of individual therapy will be a collaborative decision between you and your therapist, with regular assessments and discussions to evaluate your progress and determine the most suitable timeline for your therapeutic journey.
